For Prospective Students

We normally have several M.S. and Ph.D. openings for new students each year. Depending on the availability of funding, we will offer financial aid in the form of Research Assistantship or Teaching Assistantship to support your study at the University of Tulsa. All students who are interested in doing research at TUDRP are encouraged to apply for admission to the McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Tulsa.

For the application process, please follow the instruction from the Graduate School at the University of Tulsa. You can find useful information on the website of the Graduate School. The minimum requirements, such as GRE and TOEFL, for admission to TUDRP follow the requirements from the Graduate School at the University of Tulsa (please click here for more information).

For more information on the application, please e-mail the Graduate Office, or contact the graduate advisor at the McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering from this list. All completed materials should be sent to the Graduate School (not to TUDRP) . After that, we will get the application materials forwarded from the Graduate School for review.

You can also refer to the list of frequently asked questions to get general answers and information about graduate study at the University of Tulsa.
